Getting Started with Wellness Works' Healthy Selfie Challenge!

We encourage you to celebrate healthy moments and activities - big or small - that are a part of your daily lives. Snap and upload a photo of yourself doing something healthy and flaunt your healthy moment!

Healthy Selfie Challenge Rules
- At least one submission required per week to earn 10 Wellness Points for participation and qualify for weekly raffle
- Group photos must be submitted by each individual in the photo to receive credit
- Submissions will go through approval process
- Photo submissions and winner will be promoted in weekly emails
- Point opportunities are open to interpretation
- Filters on photos are okay
- You do not have to be in the picture to receive credit
- Wellness Points are applied on the Monday (or Tuesday, in the case of Memorial Day) after each week
How to Submit Your Healthy Selfie
- In Wellness-Connect, click on 'My Forms' and then 'Submit Proof of Exams and Events'
- Locate the 'Healthy Selfie' point tile for that week
- Choose your file AND type the category for your healthy activity into the comment box (refer to challenge email for details)
- Click SUBMIT

HEALTHY SELFIE CATEGORIES AND IDEAS!
Physical
- Visit a local attraction (walking trails, parks, Zoo, museums, gardens, vineyards, etc.)
- Participate in an athletic activity (bowling, tennis, golf, rowing, rock climbing, archery, axe throwing, 5K, biking, etc.)
- Do some gardening or yard work
- Take the stairs instead of an elevator or escalator
- Do some spring cleaning (either at home or at work)
Nutrition
- Visit a health food store (Sprouts, Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, etc.)
- Try a new-to-you fruit or vegetable
Community
- Visit a farmers' market
- Pick up trash (at a park, for example)
- Attend a community event (festival, etc.)
Self-Care/Mindfulness
- Read a book
- Do something crafty (knitting, painting, etc.)
- Practice meditation or mindfulness for 5 minutes
- Write down 3 things you feel grateful for
- Play with your pet (play fetch, go for a walk, snuggle time, etc.)
Play
- Take your kid (or dog) to a playground
- Have a picnic
- Do a favorite childhood activity (coloring books, board games, puzzles, hopscotch, etc.)
- Play an instrument
