The pictures above offer a glimpse of the new Del City Library site! The site is located at the SE corner of SE 15th and Sunnylane and was formerly occupied by the Sunny Lanes Bowling Alley. The before picture - from 6/14/11 - shows the site still occupied by the bowling alley. The after picture - from 2/27/14 - shows how demolition of the bowling alley is moving along quickly. In just a few weeks, all the debris from the bowling alley will be long gone and the vacant site will start its patient wait for the new library construction to begin. Progress!
