GENERAL – OKC CIP & BOND NEEDS
- On 12/30, we met with OKC to present Draft 3 of the MLS-OKC Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and GO Bond Requests. While these projects need to be vetted by MLS, the MLC and OKC before they can become ”final”, it included funding requests for; Almonte (2018), DN – leaks, BI (additional funding, 2016), RE – leaks, parking lot & mechanical issues & study rooms, SO – sidewalks, NW – bollards and channel work and WR – roof, parking lot, & HVAC. o Draft 3 also suggested that library services for the far northwest, far southwest and far northeast OKC should be considered.
- OKC expects to start an internal review of needs in early January. MLS is to submit Draft 4 after the 1st of the year.

CAPITOL HILL – DESIGN WORK
- On 12/11, OKC and MLS met with the OKCPS Chief Operations Officer and one of the board members Laura Massenat. The meeting was held to review options related to the use of the school’s parking lot at the corner of Harvey & SW 27th St. Securing the use of this land would help address the parking needs of the bank as well as provide land for added library parking (current plan is short of our goal), landscaping and the outdoor garden area.
- Updated floor plans were issued by MS+R on 12/15 for our review.
- On 12/29, a draft copy of the “Design Development Report” (DD), (Also called the “Preliminary Report”) was issued.
- MLS’s comments on DD report are to be sent to OKC on 1/21.

CAPITOL HILL – TEMP SPACE
- Work has started in earnest to find a site to relocate the CH Library during construction.
- In mid December, Curtiss & Todd to toured of 5 existing building. Of these, 3 look like they could work. The MLS-CH Design Team is making plans to look at these the week of 1/12/15.

- We are also looking at the possibility of moving into the Capitol Hills Elementary School.

JONES
- On 12/17, the architect issued plans to the OK State Fire Marshal and the City of Jones for review & permitting.
- On 12/18 and 1/2 Studio issued the 95% construction drawings. The balance of the specification are expected in the next few days
- MLS comments are to be presented to Jones on 2/4.
- MLS/ Jones comments due to the architect on 2/9.
- While we have a few hurdles to cross, the current schedule calls for bidding in March & ground breaking in April.
