Salute: Kristin Williamson
A few hours prior to our Matisse-inspired Paper Collage program at ED I received a request from the instructor that we limit the program to 40-45 children. I called Kristin for advice and, true to her nature, she took it upon herself to immediately contact the instructor to smooth things out and then made her way to ED to be on hand for the program - just in case a lot of kids showed up....which they did....we had 135 people in the room making collages. Kristin basically came alongside the instructor and made this program successful - and she somehow did it with kindness, patience, and a smile on her face. She had no idea what she was getting into that afternoon, but it didn't matter, because she is a total professional who happens to have a huge heart; and, oh my goodness, are we lucky to have her.

Kudos to you both! Great job Kristin and Amy!
Everyone knows Edmond is busy during the summer reading program, but this is the first year our Children's Librarians have had to look in the back room on twenty different carts for ONE item for a customer. In the past everything was separated onto shelves of similar type, like all the j fiction together, all the videos together, now we have to look on 18-20 different carts because we have that much circulation in one day, that we just can't keep up with it.
I knew the librarians would be impacted the most, but I'm just wanting to brag on Amy and Kate, because they are doing an amazing job of helping our members find what they need. We really appreciate you!
