A new resource is now available to customers-Creativebug [1]. Creativebug is an on-demand arts and crafts instructional resource with over 1,000 high-quality videos taught by expert artists and makers. It includes classes and videos on drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crochet, quilting, baking, and more. 

• New content is added every week on Wednesdays.
• Courses are designed for all skill levels from beginner up to advanced. There are even videos designed for kids 5+ and STEAM-inspired projects.
• Videos come with public performance rights so engagement staff will be able to use these in their in-person programming once it resumes.
• In addition to how-to videos, there is a pattern library of knit and crochet patterns that can be downloaded as PDFs and printed.

This new eResource is listed on our Online Learning [2] page as well as our Database [3] pages. You can also navigate directly to it by going to metrolibrary.org/creativebug [1]. When accessing outside of the library, customers will be asked for their library card and last name before being taken to the Creativebug homepage. Then they will be asked to enter an email and password to create an account. Having an account allows customers to save their video history and use the mobile app.
