Update: The Journal Record [1] is now live and available to in-house customers!
Renowned for its local business coverage, the Journal Record [1] and its archives are now available on all library computers. Staff and customers will be able to access the Journal Record’s News, Events, Legislative Reports, Public Notices, and Archives. Right now the link is only active for staff so you have an opportunity to dig around and familiarize yourself with the content and interface. We’ll go live for customers on December 3rd.
A few things to note, this is the first time the Journal Record has allowed access to a public library. As such, we will not have access to usage statistics and we can only access the content in-house. We hope to work with the Record to expand access and develop a statistics reporting system but much of that depends on the success of the first year. As you work with customers, if you have any feedback, please share that with Collection Development so we can pass it along to the Journal Record.
