There was such a big response to the feedback request on the possible cancellation for New York Times Online [1], I thought posting the decision here would be more useful than individual emails. The responses indicated a high level of value gained by keeping the NYT despite it’s in-house use limitations and duplicate content. The interface, visual media, and easier discovery, not to mention the fact that the free articles would be quickly used since the public computers are all on one IP, are very good reasons to retain our access and so we will NOT be cutting NYT Online [1].

Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback. It really does help me understand how staff and customers use these resources.
