REMINDER: Starting August 1st, ARRC [1] will no longer be accessible and will be fully replaced by AutoMate [2]. 

UPDATE: AutoMate [2]is now available! Please guide your customers (especially those who regularily use ARRC [1]) to AutoMate [2] over the next two months. 

At the end of this summer, Auto Repair Reference Center [1] will be replaced by AutoMate [2].  AutoMate [2] offers the same remote access to car repair guides and diagrams so nothing will be lost. The new database is designed for easier discovery and clearer instructions, plus even more cars!

I think customers will be pleased but this is a change and they need to be prepared. From May 23 through July 31, the two databases will run concurrently on the Research page [3]. Starting August 1, we will no longer be linking to Auto Repair Reference Center [1]. This gives staff and customers over two full months to become adjusted to AutoMate [2].

• Check out AutoMate [2] by searching for one of your vehicles. List any trouble you ran into.
• For comparison, do the same thing in Auto Repair Reference Center [1]. How did you find the two experiences?
• How will you pitch this new database to customers who are already familiar with Auto Repair Reference Center [1]?
• Is two months enough time for customers to find out about AutoMate [2] and comfortably make the switch?
