Metro is fortunate to subscribe to a number of newspaper databases with well over 15,000 titles! While this means we have newspapers in hundreds of languages, across centuries, and from around the globe, it does get overwhelming. For example, have you had a member ask about papers from a small town in Ohio or a member wanting to read a Chinese newspaper but you aren't sure where to start? Look no further than the Newspaper Finder [1]!

This handy index lets you search by title, database, state, city, country and language. The index lets you know which database the newspaper can be found in. You can even export and print commonly used sets or, if you're feeling especially brave, the entire list. The Newspaper Finder [1] lives under the Resources Tab.

One small note, some databases classify states with initials and some spell out the full name so if you are looking for papers in a specific state be sure and choose both styles.
