If you've been trying to use Ebsco Academic Search Premier and finding it impossible, don't worry, you are not losing your mind. At some point in the last week all public libraries lost access to the database. Academic Search Premier was supported by the Regents of Higher Education. Having suffered deep cuts, the Regents couldn't afford to keep the product which in turn cancelled the upgrade access to the public libraries.

However, we should have access to a lighter version - Ebsco Academic Search Elite. As of right now, it is not listed on the database list but we do have a ticket in with Ebsco. Watch this space for updates.
