The Young Adult Lit world lost a shining star this month with the death of Louise Rennison, author of the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series. Her laugh-out-loud stories of boy-crazy British teen Georgia and adventures with her Ace Gang are considered modern day classics. Her first novel, Angus,Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging was adapted into a movie in 2008.
