I'd heard of paranormal romances, which sounded extremely goofy. People falling in love with ghosts, aliens, and werewolves? Please. It turns out they're more intricately plotted than other subgenres and the romantic element is only one of many intriguing aspects of the stories. Read on for a list.
Yes, it’s February, the month of love, but don’t get too carried away. You’ve got the rest of the year to read dramatic love stories, so why don’t you take a break this month and keep it lighthearted and amusing? These titles are all what might be considered romantic comedies, with a hint of naughtiness thrown in.
The rise of eBooks and greater options for self-publishing means that the number of ethnically diverse Romances continues to increase as writers are calling for the publishing industry to get more in touch with what readers want, and to market diverse titles more broadly. It makes sense that readers would want to read about love in general without as much regard for the ethnicity of the characters, after all, love stories are the number one appeal of romance and love is a universal experience. Diversity in the Romance world is also a fun way to learn a little something about cultures that you might not be personally familiar with. Here are a few titles with multicultural characters.

The leaves are starting to fall, the nights are getting longer, pumpkin spice can be found in abundance, and kids are getting ready for Halloween. And most of all it’s that time of the year when ghostly love is in the air. Vampires and werewolves are staring longingly at one another under the full moon, zombies chase the brains of their true loves, and the ghosts haunt their old flames. I think you know where I’m going with this. It’s time for a good old fashioned paranormal romance!
