Hoopla Back-to-School collections

Hello!

Hoopla has created back-to-school collections for eBooks and Videos! I especially want to highlight the "First Day Confidence" eBook collection for our miniature customers who may be nervous about starting school for the firs time, or just going back after Summer break. All of the back-to-school collection resources can be accessed here, or at the links listed below. There are also marketing materials attached.

Introducing AtoZ World Food and AtoZ Food America!

Hello! I am happy to say that we have added two new databases to our digital collection, A to Z World Food, and A to Z Food America.  Both resources offer thousands of recipies, culture and cuisine articles, as well as ingredient lists. Due to the popularity of our cookbooks and food culture materials, we foresee that our customers will benefit from the inclusion of these two databases into our digital collection. Both databases can be found by navigating to our databases list through the Research and Learn button on the home page.

Overdrive: Together We Read - The Five Wounds

The Together We Read Overdrive book club has gone live with The Five Wounds. Available from today (2/7) through to the 21st. There is no wait for this title and both the ebook and eAudio formats are available.

Hoopla on Apple CarPlay!

Our guests LOVE their audiobooks! Over the past 12 months our guests have racked up approximately 56k audiobook circs among 21.8K unique titles on Hoopla alone. That's not counting Metro's 1.245 million audiobook circs on Overdrive. 

Thankfully, Hoopla is now available on Apple CarPlay, along with Android Auto, making it even easier for our guests to enjoy their favorite audiobooks in the car.

Hoopla - Curiosity Stream now on BingePass

A new hoopla BingePass has arrived!

Last month, Hoopla introduced this new way to access content, and now more great BingePass content is available. The Curiosity Stream BingePass offers thousands of documentaries and nonfiction series spanning topics like science, nature, society, lifestyle, and even children's content. Guests can watch as many of these videos as they'd like for 7 days with just one hoopla Instant borrow.

UPDATED-Legacy Overdrive app being removed - February 23!

Kanopy on Libby!

Starting December 6th, customers will be able to access Kanopy directly from the Libby app. Kanopy will appear in the Extras section of the Libby app alongside Metro's own curated collections, campaigns, and catalog guides. The Kanopy app and all the ways to browse, stream, and enjoy videos from Kanopy will remain unchanged.
