General Updates
- Update on points - Kellie
- Moving to the points system for Summer Reading was discussed at Leadership Team and we are moving forward.
- Drafts are in progress for printable points-based activity logs for each age group.
- Update on MAC - Emily
- Proofs for the postcard, fine waiver, and reading log have been approved.
- Bookplates will be "thanks to a gift from the Friends" cover stickers and Read it Forward stickers will look different this year, at Marketing's request.
- Adult prizes (bags and keychain flashlights) have been ordered.
- Text for the big posters (general poster, prize poster, and end of summer poster) have been finalized and the requests will be submitted shortly.
- Update on individual library goals - Vicki
- Vicki is finalizing the goal numbers to make sure they represent similar increases from previous years. She will send out the document to the library mangers soon for their approval, and stress that libraries are not competing against each other, only their own past numbers.
- When asked what would help the libraries the most as they work toward reaching their goal, the number one answer was weekly updates/stats so staff can judge how they're doing from week to week.
- The top 3 survey results for libraries reaching their SR goals were discussed in EPS and a proposal is being drafted to ask for extending jeans through August as the reward.
