Access Workshop Content Revamp Workgroup (Tricia Andrews, PSA): Tricia shared the new name for Access Workshops will be the CARL Trainings. This will launch in February 2023. There will be 2 or 3 Instructor led trainings. Zoom and in person options will be available for instructor led portions, led by system access trainers. The launch will include 14 micro-courses. They will be approximately 20-30 minutes in length. Each course will focus on checklists and scenarios. Learning Paths have been identified and will be named based on each position’s primary tasks.

Summer Reading (Emily Williams, OES): Emily Williams gave several highlights and reminders for the upcoming Summer Reading Program. Access Managers are expected to be local experts but can feel free to reach out to OES for assistance. A lot of great information is available via the Summer Reading page on the intranet.

Tote Check In Server: Small group discussions were held to discuss how the Tote Check In Server is going at the libraries. Some libraries are experiencing issues with items being put on hold while in Transit as they are difficult to find.

Automatic Renewals Update
We have been planning to transition to automatic renewals for customers for several months. We have set February 1st as the date that automatic renewals will turn on for customers. In the meantime, we need your help to start sharing with customers that this is coming and how it works.
