Jennifer is a member of Oklahoma Master Naturalists, and has also completed Project Learning Tree educator training through Oklahoma Forestry Services.

Table space for presentations, floor for children to sit, tables for craft time & I need to be able to walk between children.

Background/Hobbies:

Jennifer Shore has always had a passion for wildlife. As a teen, Jennifer volunteered at the Oklahoma City Zoo as a Junior Curator. After high school, she married, spent time raising a family and meanwhile remained deeply committed to exploring, understanding, and educating those close to her about the natural world and its inhabitants. Later, in 2001, Jennifer returned to the Oklahoma City Zoo to work as an adult volunteer. She was then hired as staff in the Zoo's Education Department where she remained until 2005. Critter Tales was conceived shortly thereafter and has ever since been Bringing the Wild to Life throughout the state of Oklahoma. Previous employee of OKC Zoo Education Dept. OK Master Naturalist, PLT Certified, Cub Scout Den Leader, Licensed, experienced, high energy, passionate about wildlife

I thought I would let you know that I had the program "Critter Tales" today with Jennifer Lance. I know that she is in our performer database. She did an excellent job talking to the kids and interacting with them. We even had some kids from Special Care in our audience, and she did a great job interacting with them, and having control over the audience. The kids enjoyed being able to come up and touch the artifacts and animals at the end of the program. I would highly recommend her program, and it is a very reasonable cost also.
