Work Description:

I offer workshops and demonstrations related to the fiber arts. I offer a "round robin" weaving workshop, where each participant can try out different types of small looms, and make one or more take-home items. This workshop can be adapted for children or adults. I also teach workshops and give demonstrations of photo transfer on fabric.

Space or Technical Considerations:

Weaving programs: Table space to set up looms. Several looms can be on each table. Quantity of looms depends on number of participants. I provide all materials. Photo transfer programs: table space plus access to outlets for irons.

Background/Hobbies:

I love to make art, and I love to teach art! I teach adult weaving classes at City Arts Center, fiber workshops for adults throughout the year and I have taught weaving and a wide variety of other fiber arts to children of all ages. My emphasis is on hands-on, fun, rewarding learning.
