Reminder - Kanopy Changes Nov. 1

Hello Metro,

This is a friendly reminder that Kanopy will be switching from a play credit system to a ticket system on November 1st. 

  • Instead of play credits, users will have a monthly ticket allotment (24 tickets).
  • Every title is labled with a ticket value based on running time, and viewing window.
    • 2 hours or less - 2 tickets, 3 day viewing period.
    • 2-4 hours - 3 tickets, 3 day viewing period.
    • 4-6 hours - 4 tickets, 7 day viewing period.
    • 6+ hours - 5 tickets, 14-21 days viewing period (varies depending on title).
  • The Great Courses ARE included in the new ticket system.
  • Kanopy Kids : NOT included in the ticket system.

Users have been seeing announcements on the Kanopy app and website leading up to the change.
