Thank you again for a successful Summer Reading 2023! As we close the chapter on last summer, we are already looking ahead to start work on planning Summer Reading 2024. To help us accomplish our goal of creating a community of readers and library users, we need your help. The team that plans our Summer Reading program changes every year, with guidance and leadership from Outreach & Engagement Services. Based on feedback about this past summer we have added a new subcommittee: In-Person Program Planning. OES has 5 Summer Reading Subcommittees with 15 vacancies for the upcoming year. Listed below are the SR Subcommittees, their duties, and the openings for your participation:

Applications are due by October 20 and require supervisor approval. All applicants will be notified via email of the status of their application the week of October 27. The first Summer Reading Committee meeting will be on Tuesday, November 14 from 2:30-4pm.
