We are excited to announce the launch of a new service called Tailored Skills!

Tailored Skills connects customers with customized lists of library and vetted community resources to support the development of a skillset or a new skill. For example, if a customer wants to learn how to bird watch, they can fill out a form online, and within 7 days, one of our staff volunteers will email them a list that may include library materials, reputable YouTube videos, and information about local bird watching groups. Our team of volunteers has already created 76& Tailored Skills lists that will live on the library website. These lists are easily printable and can be distributed at local branches. Here are some ways you may be able to use the existing lists:

• as part of a display 
• during a program 
• during outreach events
• during reference interactions
