Collection Development is considering cancelling SIRS Discoverer and SIRS Issues Researcher due to very low usage, high cost-per-use, and duplication of content in other eResources. However, we understand that low or inconsistent usage does not mean it may not have value to staff or be used for a purpose we aren't aware of. If you have experience with these databases and would like to share your feedback on this decision, please fill out this survey [1] by Friday, March 12th. 

SIRS Discoverer [2] cost-per-use is $193.74. We have many other general reference databases for elementary and middle schoolers such as Explora [3] and Britannica [4].

SIRS Issues Researcher [5] (previously known as SIRS Knowledge Source) cost-per use is $442.41. Opposing Viewpoints [6] and Issues & Controversies [7] provide much of the same type of content.
