The MLS Commission approved recommended changes to several policies during their October 2019 meeting. The effective date was November 1, 2019. While a brief overview of the changes is provided here, you are encouraged to read the entire policy as appropriate.
Several changes were housekeeping in nature, such as changing the “member” to “customer” and to clarify intent. Other changes are highlighted below:
Change the word “barefoot” to “without shoes”
Removed language which stated items could be renewed for 6 months
Updated language to allow requests for items through ILL which MLS may own
Removed language which included the current Mission, Vision, and Core Values. This will eliminate the need to update the policy if any of these items should change.
