In October, three new products from Brainfuse will go live for our customers—HelpNow, JobNow, and VetNow.
HelpNow [1] is primarily a homework help and skills building service that will offer live online tutoring for elementary through high school students. HelpNow also offers a writing lab where customers can submit any piece of writing and receive detailed feedback from expert instructors. Other resources are also available such as practice tests, skills building lessons, a flashcard generator, and virtual study rooms.
JobNow [2] offers a resume lab and live job coaching along with resume templates, interview tips, and other career resources.
VetNow [3] is designed to offer help to veterans transitioning into the civilian workforce. Like JobNow, it offers a resume lab and live job coaching geared towards veterans as well as live help navigating veteran’s benefits.
Live help for HelpNow and JobNow will be available from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM every day.
VetNow’s live help will be available from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM every day. All other resources will be available 24/7.
Get Ready:
Marketing is working on promotional materials which will be available before we launch.
In the meantime, a course has been created in Edubrite that you can enroll in to gain access to a few short introductory videos explaining each product (search “Brainfuse” in Edubrite).
Two live webinars are being offered on October 8th from 9-10AM and October 10th from 5-6:30PM. Click the events tab in the Brainfuse course on Edubrite to enroll with supervisor approval and receive the GoToMeeting invite instructions. See this short video for help enrolling in this course on Edubrite. [4] These webinars will be a great opportunity to see highlights of the products and for you to ask questions, but the webinars will be recorded and shared after the events.
While not live for customers just yet, we have full access to each site now using these links:
Please play around and get familiar with each product before we go live to customers. And stay tuned for updates on best practices being developed through the EPS Homework Help workgroup.
