This has been a busy year and whether you’ve served on the front lines providing great service to the public or whether you've worked in a department making it all flow smoothly behind the scenes, you should feel proud that you’ve improved the lives of tens of thousands of our fellow citizens. Through the generosity of the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System we have funds available to show our appreciation for your contributions and hard work. Your department or library has funds to be able to plan local recognition but this is a time to recognize all our staff system-wide.
