Development and Volunteers Services has a few reminders for you as we head into October...

• The new receipting process has begun - The new process begins today, Oct. 1st. The intranet post with supplementary documents on this new process is located HERE [1].
• The fall Friends of the Library membership campaign kicks off today -  The campaign runs Oct. 1st through Nov. 15th. Library locations should have received packets of membership brochures to put in their libraries. When customers tell you how much they love the library – simply ask if they’ve considered joining the Friends and hand them a brochure!
• National Friends of the Library week kicks off Oct. 21st - The celebration runs from Oct. 21 - 27. Locations are encouraged to create displays around the concept of friends/friendship. Please share photos of your displays with marketing ([email protected] [2]). A sign honoring 40 years of the Friends of the Library (and 40 years of Friendship!) was also sent to all locations.
