Odilo [1], Metro’s newest Spanish language ebook/eaudio platform, is live and ready for customer use. If you haven’t given Odilo a try, check out the catalog [1] or download the app for iOS/Android/Kindle Fire. All you need is your library card number and last name!
While we do have a cap on the amount of books we can have in the collection at one time, the titles themselves can be swapped out. This means the collection is both highly proactive and reactive. If you have a program you believe would be supported by Spanish language books, we can add specific topics to the collection. As the collection gets read and you receive community feedback, we’re able to take the feedback and tweak the collection accordingly.
Try browsing the catalog and downloading the app. CIS is here to help if you have any trouble.
If you’re looking to promote Odilo [1] in your library, printable resources in English and Spanish are attached. If you’re looking for some quick tutorials or user guides, you can access those here [2].
Thank you to the people who contacted CD about the need for native Spanish-language ebooks, attended webinars, or shared information about Odilo [1]. I hope this platform provides your customers with the content they've been wanting!
Many, many thanks to the staff at Capitol Hill and Almonte for provding early feedback on the collection. With their input, the collection is launcing from a better place than it started.
