Program Description: 
Join us at the library and get your baking skills ready for the holiday season! Apple Pie Time lets you practice following directions, measuring ingredients and putting together a delicious pie to take home and bake. Cookbooks for all ages will be available to check out. This class fills up quickly, so registration is required.

This program will allow members to have a learning experience that is enjoyable. This program will also help people learn traditional American culture of the holiday season.

Satisfy Curiosity: Your libraries are centers that offer access to civic, cultural and community enrichment opportunities.
Why will this program be successful?: 
This program will be successful because it will be a fun learning experience for all ages and backgrounds. The people who attend will get to take home a pie for the holiday that may not otherwise have had the opportunity to have a dessert for the holiday.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
The success of the program will be measured by the attendance of the program as well as by how well the attendees enjoy themselves.

We can tie in our collection to the program, we can have cookbooks/baking books on display outside before the program to promote the program as well as have books in the room for members to check out once the program is completed.

We will need roughly 35 pie shells, pie covers, apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Final Comments: 
I think that this program will be a very popular program and we will have a lot of people attend this program that may not have attended it last year since we are closer to more apartments this year.
