When looking at member accounts from the staff side, you'll notice there is a red X under "Completed?" on the profiles.

We've had a couple questions asking if staff need to do anything with this feature. To officially complete the program, a participant must read 20 hours and receive 4 additional badges. These 4 additional badges can come from any combination of logging (Read it Forward, library events, or reviews) or any of the learning tracks. Beanstack will automatically update this X to a check once those criteria are met and then members will receive the 2017 Completed Summer Reading badge.

So staff and teen volunteers do not need to click the red X, because the system will auto-update that section.
