Program Description:
This program is for general audiences to engage riders and their relatives, researchers, and the general public to create a greater awareness of the Orphan Train Movement. Local Oklahoma riders are encouraged to join us and share your stories. The intent is to inform, entertain, and inspire the Oklahoma public about this little-known part in their state's history.

The Orphan Train stories resonate with thousands of individuals who came to Oklahoma on this Orphan Train, and they connect with other stories from individuals around the country.

We will measure attendance, new library cards issued to attendees, and library materials on genealogy and other materials on display, check out.

The National Orphan Train Complex Museum and Research Center received a grant to pay for 4 of our library presentations, MLS is paying $750.00 and hotel costs.
