Thank you to everyone for your input on board book call numbers.  When we began cataloging all uncataloged materials, board books were moved into the easy picture section.  This created some problems in shelving and finding these books in that collection.  When the libraries were asked if it would be helpful for the board books to have a call number of Board instead of Easy so they could be shelved separately from the picture books, the response was overwhelmingly positive. 

Cataloging will begin the new process immediately and will recall the board books that were already sent out with a call number of Easy on the spine.  We will not be recalling the uncataloged board books that were already in your collection, but please consider weeding them, especially if they are in poor condition.
