Program Description: 
Want to be a better reader? Simply read! Reading for just 20 minutes a day is guaranteed to improve your reading skills. We can help your reading score soar! Join us to get one-on-one help with reading practice from volunteers. Children will read with volunteers for 30 minutes at 5:30pm, 6:00pm or 6:30pm. Word games & all reading materials provided or you can bring your own. This is a recurring event and takes place on Mondays.

Making communities smarter is one of the goals of the library system. In this case, we are assisting children with their reading skills so that they can improve in school and enjoy reading books from the library. We are also supporting the goals of outreach into the Community & Member retention by providing a recurring program.

Find, Evaluate & Use Information: Visitors are connected with library resources at every point of contact.

Success will initially be determined by attendance and feedback from parents, as well as from volunteers who will observe individual improvement in reading skills over time.
