Program Description:

Use your imagination to create a picture that represents your favorite book using the most adorable candy ever made: PEEPS! Join us at the Bethany Library on Sunday, April 2, to get a head start on creating your peep diorama- we will provide peeps and some craft supplies! Submit your peep diorama to us by Saturday, April 15, so that we can display them in the library and pick a winner! There will be a category for children (anyone under 12), teens (ages 12-18) and adults (anyone over 18). Register early- limited space available!

This program meets the goals of MLS by welcoming members of all ages to the library to let their imaginations come to life. This program fits in the "imagine with pictures" programming dimension. We are also promoting books by displaying completed peep dioramas at the library.

This program will be successful because it will be an opportunity for members to create something they can be proud of based on books they have read. I think the fact that this event is a contest will make more members want to participate.
