Making communities smarter is one of the goals of the library system. In this case, we are assisting children with their reading skills so that they can improve in school and enjoy reading books from the library.

Find, Evaluate & Use Information: Visitors are connected with library resources at every point of contact.
Why will this program be successful?: 
We are exposing children and families to books with the hope that they will become life long readers and so that they will succeed in school and in life.

Success will initially be determined by attendance and feedback from parents, as well as from volunteers who will observe individual improvement in reading skills over time

Want to be a better reader? Simply read! Reading for just 20 minutes a day is guaranteed to improve your reading skills. We can help your reading score soar! Join us to get one-on-one help with reading practice from volunteers. Children will read with volunteers for 30 minutes at 5:30pm, 6:00pm or 6:30pm. Please pre-register in library or call 789-8363. Word games & all reading materials provided or you can bring your own.
