Program Justification
Is a program the best way to meet the expressed need or present information?:
Yes
Does the program fit the goals of the MLS?:
Yes
How & why does this program meet the goals of the MLS?:
This is a rebranding of our previous "Maker Monday" program series. Somewhere in the past it moved away from STEM-based programming to becoming more of a craft program. We will be focusing on allowing children to explore possible STEM careers in a fun non-didactic way. Playful Learning!
Which Strategic Plan Response/Goals does this program meet?:
Satisfy Curiosity: Visitors explore their interests using the variety of information at the library.
Why will this program be successful?:
Because it meets a need in our community.
How will success be measured/determined?:
With outputs as well as outcomes. Our Monday nights have a built in audience, so it shouldn't be difficult. The outcomes are what will be of note.
