Before Valentine’s Day comes Galentine’s Day, a holiday all about celebrating female friendships. Bring your friends, your mom, or your best bud from work… only one rule – significant others not allowed. Join us for a night of DIY crafts, games, and sweet treats. Check out your next great read while you’re here – we’ll have a selection of biographies on influential women, best friend novels, and of course sappy romance books to celebrate the holiday season.

This program meets the goal of creating a welcoming environment while creating an atmosphere that encourages learning for enjoyment.

Ensure a Welcoming Experience: Visitors are welcomed into an atmosphere of hospitality, exemplary service, and friendly interaction.
Why will this program be successful?: 
Our customers enjoy DIY activities and the opportunity to gather with friends. I will be providing the following activity stations: DIY lip balm, DIY coasters, and a card making area.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Success will be measured by attendee feedback. I will have a selection of books available for attendees to check out after the program.

I will be promoting books featuring influential women as well as popular Valentine's Day reads. One of the activities during this program will be a trivia game which includes questions from popular women's literature and films.

Yes, order through RFP or shop locally for additional supplies.
Supply/Shopping List: 
• Chocolate cupcakes • Card making embellishments • Small prizes for trivia winners • Vaseline, Kool Aid, and small containers for lip balm • Buttons, glue, and felt for coasters
Final Comments: 
Activities for this program include a card making station, DIY lip balm, a DIY coaster craft, and a trivia game. I will provide chocolate cupcakes or similar chocolate treats.
