Introduce your little ones to the library and create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying holiday stories, songs, a game of dreidel and holiday refreshments. Sign up online at www.metrolibrary.org .

Holiday Story Time fills a need and desire of families to introduce their children to the library, to stories, reading and holiday traditions. It is an opportunity for children to gain socialization skills.

Satisfy Curiosity: Your libraries are centers that offer access to civic, cultural and community enrichment opportunities.
Why will this program be successful?: 
The story times for ages 3-6 have an established record of good attendance and a loyal following of families from month to month.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Attendance of 12 to 24 children with parent or adult caregiver. The children will participate in story time and utilize library resources in conjunction with their visit.
