If you can imagine it, you can build it. Come meet with us the first Monday of every month and learn mechanical design, construction, and programming using LEGO Mindstorm Robot Kits.

One of the core values of MLS is "Commitment to Learning as Enjoyment." At the monthly robotics club, members will be able to learn about how to build and program LEGO Mindstorm robots. Also as a monthly club, we will be able to tailor the activities to specific themes set by the Metropolitan Library System.

Satisfy Curiosity: Visitors explore their interests using the variety of information at the library.

Robotics has been successful in the past as well as we have tweens and parents asking about it.

Final Comments: 
Since the demand is high and we have people asking about it, we have decided to go ahead and start in October. We will try out the monthly club through January to see if we like doing the once a month events or the 3 week long programs better.
