Program Description: 
Sharing in playtimes is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning and discover that the library is a destination for fun! Parachute games will help children learn to cooperate and follow directions, skills needed for success in school. We will conclude our play time with a brief educational story time with music, rhymes, flannel board activities and a story. Choose the 9:30 or 10:30 session.

Provides children and families with an introduction to the library and its resources that provide help in preparing children to enter school.

Children will begin to learn to follow directions and cooperate and learn to listen to books, nursery rhymes and participate in movement activities.

Attendance of 8 to 16 children per session. Families will take home resources of the library and return to the library for further programs.
