Reduxion Theatre Company (RTC) is an Oklahoma nonprofit 501(c)3 theatre dedicated to producing intimate, fresh looks at classical theatre using small casts, live music, innovative staging and "theatre-in-your-lap" style audience interaction. Newly established as a resident theatre at the prestigious Civic Center Music Hall in downtown Oklahoma City, we specialize in classical work with a twist. Offering four main stage shows each season, RTC also produces children's shows, holiday shows, touring performances and educational outreach. “Revisit the Classics!”

We are committed to being the hub for learning and cultural enrichment. Teens are a group notorious for being difficult to bring physically into the library. By offering a program that caters to their specific needs surrounding a cultural tradition (Halloween), we will be able to encourage them to attend, and continue to encourage the notion that libraries are the place to learn about the things in which they are specifically interested.

This program will be successful because it appeals to a specific desire for teens at an appropriate time. The program will take place close to Halloween, giving teens time to practice what they have learned, but close enough that they have a good idea already of what they want to do for Halloween and what they need to know to achieve the effect they want.
