Overwhelmed by the busy-ness that comes from the beginning of the school year? Join us for an afternoon workshop with all the tools to create a set of fun reading games for your beginning reader, inspired by the Book "Raising a Rock Star Reader" by Amy Mascott and Alison McDonald. Learn how to use everyday items to help make your child's learning adventure meaningful, relaxing, and fun! On your way, be sure to pick out some books to celebrate the joy of reading!

Commitment to Learning as Enjoyment- In a world where children are pushed to pick up academic skills earlier than ever, this will emphasize the value of play based learning that involves caregivers.

Ensure a Welcoming Experience: Visitors are welcomed into an atmosphere of hospitality, exemplary service, and friendly interaction.
Why will this program be successful?: 
Often after parent teacher conferences, we have parents coming in for resources. I would like to offer this as an alternative to screen based resources as a way for parent s to develop a more interactive way of helping their child develop reading skills.
