Program Description:
Come join us for a fun afternoon of creativity! Skilled Librarians will be on hand to guide you through some delightful craft activities, followed by a story time. On your way out, pick up a few of our favorite picture books or crafting books to enjoy at home.

This program will build on the principle of "Commitment to Learning as Enjoyment" by using the arts to pull people in to learn more about the library's literary collection.

Satisfy Curiosity: Visitors explore their interests using the variety of information at the library.
Why will this program be successful?:
Crafternoon has been a fairly well attended program. Families seem to enjoy the opportunity to be able to all participate, and there is a pull for the children who are here throughout the day to try something new while they are here.
How will success be measured/determined?:

I will loosely plan on centering this around the storytime kit I have put together for outreach (foodie folktales)...but that may change depending on what directives we get from OUT concerning themes.
