Program Description: 
Tween Story and Art Time Let your imagination soar during our Tween Story and Art Time! Using inspiration from stories about famous artists, we will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own unique creations. A professional librarian and artists will be on hand to help provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

This program provides an enrichment opportunity for our tween age customers. It is a fun and inviting program that will allow them to learn about different artist in a enjoyable and fun environment. It fits into our goal of providing cultural and community enrichment opportunities.

This program will be successful because art programs and tween programs are well received generally.

We will be using a variety of picture books from our collection and will provide a book list of suggested titles for further reading about each artist with additional resources for each child to take home.

Are supplies needed?: 
Yes, order through RFP or shop locally for additional supplies.
Supply/Shopping List: 
Supplies will be determined when final book selection and art project is okayed by artist for all four sessions. Possible cost of artist for four sessions is $400= $100 per session (Suggested Payment but negotiable if needed). Estimated cost for supplies is $250 to supply 80 children.
