Program Description: 
Develop Olympic-sized reading abilities with a reading buddy. Teen volunteers are paired with kids to help them read at least 20 minutes a day, boost their skills, and get them excited about reading. Bring your own book or pick one out at the library and plan to read with a super teen volunteer.

The goal of the SRP is to help prevent the "summer slide." The library is helping do this in a unique way, with the help of teen volunteers who can mentor and encourage children in their reading.
