Background/Hobbies:
The two were mentored by Argentine Tango masters Hugo Patyn and Celina Rotundo of Buenos Aires, Martha and David Wells strive to spread the beauty and passion of Argentine Tango. Taking a traditional approach, they emphasize proper technique and musicality. They have performed at local Oklahoma events such as the Downtown Festival of the Arts, Plaza District Festival, OSU’s Miss Hispanic Pageant 2012, St. Baldrick’s Cancer Fundraiser, YMCA’s International Wine Tasting in Midtown, and various other private and public events.
Martha and David have taken master workshops and classes in Dallas with George and Jairelbhi Furlong, and have taken classes with Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo, Gabriel Misse and Analia Centurion,Mayte Valdes and Carlos Barrionuevo, Amy Lincoln and Santiago Croce, Jorge Torres and Maria Blanco, and Nito and Elba in the Las Vegas Red Carpet Tango Festival
