Program Description: 
April marks the 20th anniversary of National Poetry Month, which was started by the Academy of American Poets. Kick off the month by joining Carl Sennhenn, Oklahoma Poet Laureate for 2001 and 2002. He's also a two-time Oklahoma Book Award Winner. He will read from his poetry and tell how he came to write them as a way of sharing tips about writing and getting started when inspiration fails momentarily. There will be time for questions from interested writers or would-be writers to work on your own poetry.

We will advertise it. There a many people in the area who have an interest in poetry. Also, the poet is known in the area.
