Program Description: 
Have you always wanted to learn how to paint but didn't know where to start? Now is the time to channel your inner artist. Join us at the Downtown library for a Pop and Palette class. Artist, Jim Pourtorkan, will lead the class step by step to complete a colorful watercolor painting. Old fashioned soda pop will help get your creative juices flowing while you paint. All supplies will be provided. After the class, check out the library’s collection of art books and how-to drawing books.

The Downtown community hosts “Maker Series” throughout the year, which are always well attended and sell out quickly. By offering similar program but for free will entice people who were interested in the Maker Series but could not afford it.
