This class is developed by the National Institute on Aging to help older adults to learn to find accurate online health information on their own. In this lesson we will learn how to use Frequently Asked Questions – or FAQs – the Search Box, and the Site Map on the NIHSeniorHealth website. We will also explore health issues of interest to you.

This program matters to seniors who are not familiar with searching health information on the Internet, which prevent them from using the library resources, such as the catalog and the computers along with the library databases. We are here to educate the patrons, so they will be empowered to use the resources that are available in the MLS. This program applies to the goal of our community having access to current technology and digital resources. The purpose of this program is to help older adults learn to find accurate online health information on their own.
