It looks like a solid program; it makes use of an existing library resource, and won't cost us any extra money. However, I am a little concerned about the time of day: at 7 PM, you'll be competing with the kiddos for those iPads, and there isn't any real way to reserve them besides putting a sign on the Media Surfer. We can try that time, though. Also, please go ahead and book the room for the event; it's better to have the room reserved and not need it than to not have the room reserved and it get snatched up by a private party or community group.

Program Description: 
We've had iPads available for in library use for a while now. Maybe you're curious about them, or even a little scared of them. Maybe you think they are just something for kids to play with, but really they can do all the same things a computer does! If you want to know more, come to our small class where you can learn the basics of iPad use like how to connect to the internet, use apps, check your email, and even print! Please bring your library card (not the keychain one). You'll need it to check out an iPad to use in the class.
