No, your email will be migrated over from OneNet's email servers to Office 365's email servers. When you log in for the first time, all of your email you had before will be waiting for you, including all of your folders and any messages you had sorted inside those folders.
Yes, but it will require work on your part. In the near future, we will be posting instructions on how to export your current personal contacts from Convergence and Thunderbird, and how to import them into Office 365. You can't import groups/distribution lists into Office 365, but you can print a list of members in a list from Convergence to assist in re-creating the Groups in Office 365. You can also export a mailing group from within Thunderbird to a text file and use that file to help recreate your groups.
Office 365 is more than just email, it includes other apps and services that we hope to implement in the future. At first, the only service that will be activated when we go live is the Exchange Online email. Each product that comes with Office 365 takes a considerable amount of time to plan and implement in an organization our size. We wanted to get the email rolled out as soon as possible and not have you wait until we had the other Office 365 features set up.
