Safety training for the 4th quarter has been added as required training for all MLS Employees through the Metro U LMS [1]. Employees must complete the following training (in the order below) to receive credit for 4th Quarter Safety Training (click on links to open):

1. Globally Harmonized System – New Hazard Communication [2]
   This slideshow must be reviewed and marked as complete by December 1st, 2013.
2. Your Library’s Fire Evacuation Procedures [3]
   This plan must be reviewed and marked as complete by Friday, December 20th, 2013.

Instructions for Marking Complete:

When you are logged into the LMS, you will click on the My Required Learning icon (the black pen picture) and select the radio button next to 4th Quarter Safety Training (2013) – Globally Harmonized System and then select OPEN.  When the course/reading info is displayed you will get a Mark Complete icon at the upper right side of that box – click it.  The system should tell you that the ‘mark complete’ is successful.  Repeat the steps for the reading on Your Library’s Fire Evacuation Procedures.  See the screenshots below for guidance.
